Overview
Experience from the war in Ukraine has shown that artillery is an essential capability. We worked on the development of the most modern artillery system available — the first gun able to fire on the move.
Development
Because of our long-standing customer relationship, we were asked to take part in this project from the very start. Our contribution was to reduce weight without compromising performance, which was crucial to making firing on the move possible.
Result
Testing and use in the field have confirmed the predicted performance characteristics. As a result, it is currently regarded as the leader in its class.

One component of the Main Sensory Slaved Armament (MSSA) is the stabilized electro-optical sensor system (SEOS). The bearings it uses are characterized by high rigidity and by consistent accuracy in both clockwise and counterclockwise rotation, because at a firing range of several kilometers every thousandth of a degree of deviation matters.

This project is a flagship program for the OEM and continues IBO's work on the Lynx project. It is again a Main Sensory Slaved Armament (MSSA) system. The overall system is intended for the American market, so the project volume is much larger.
