Success Story

Project XM30

Client
Rheinmetall AG
Type
Race Way Bearing

Overview

This project is a flagship program for the OEM and continues IBO's work on the Lynx project. It is again a Main Sensory Slaved Armament (MSSA) system. The overall system is intended for the American market, so the project volume is much larger.

Development

Following a recommendation, IBO was given the opportunity to take part as a development and production partner. The project was characterized by significantly more complex contractual arrangements and by requirements for project transparency between European and American companies. Our knowledge of the overall system also helped the customer with the design of all components.

Result

IBO is part of a flagship project in the US defense industry.
